WOMEN'S MARCH ON WASHINGTON
Saturday, January 21, 2017 was a special day across the country and all over the world. Women of all ages and ethnicities gathered together to both protest the new administration of President Trump and show support for women and women’s rights everywhere. In Washington, DC alone over 500,000 gathered (men too), which far surpassed the number of attendees at the inauguration the day before. The air seemed fresh and the mood of the crowd was positive and inclusive, even when the overwhelming throngs of people came to a standstill at times.
