INAUGURATION - 2009
January 20, 2009 was a bitter cold day. An estimated 1.8 million people gathered on the Mall, huddling to keep warm and stretching all the way from the Capitol building to the Lincoln Memorial. It was a sight to be seen. Hope and change warmed the crowd, as they witnessed not only an historic moment in presidential history, but possibly a life altering event for them personally. The crowd swayed, huddled to keep warm and eventually broke into dance when the 44th President, Barack Hussein Obama, was sworn in.
