OLD DELHI
On my return trip from a recent project in Bhutan, I spent a day exploring the historic sites and bustling streets of Old Delhi. This photograph captures a family on their way home from school in an auto rickshaw as they passed me along a narrow lane in Shahjahanabad—the 17th‑century walled city founded by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638, now known as Old Delhi.
